Review: Hard Candy Top Ten Eyeshadow Palette in Feelin' Blue?

I just can't quit these palettes. I must have them all! I picked up Feelin' Blue? A few days ago and it's my favourite one yet.
The packaging is the same as Green With Envy, except blue. It's very hard to open, and I recommend using your teeth if you don't want to ruin your manicure.
































































You know the drill, I numbered the pans and swatches as they don't have names.

Shadow 1 is a frosty white. It's powdery and doesn't show up on the eyes much- it pretty much fades to nothing when you try to blend it.
Shadow 2 is a stormcloud grey frost.
Shadow 3 is a grey-baby blue with silver frost.
Shadow 4 is a prussian blue shimmer.
Shadow 5 is a periwinkle shimmer.
Shadow 6 is a beautiful lagoon satin!
Shadow 7 is my favourite, an intense cerulean with small flecks of silver shimmer. It leaves a bit of a stain.
Shadow 8 is a frosty lake blue. This one has a bit of fallout, but it's very nice.
Shadow 9 is a muted dark blue satin.
Shadow 10 is a navy satin.

These shadows are very blendable and this made the palette much more versatile than the two other Top 10 Palettes I own!

Shadows 1, 6 and 7.

If you're looking for blue eyeshadow, this is the nicest, most variable and cost-effective palette on the market! Just proof that someone need not spend a fortune to get good-quality vibrant eyeshadow.

Review: Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon

Hey guys, long time no post! I'm here today to review the new Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon. This is an interesting product for sure- one of the many new and exciting things Maybelline has put out for us this spring. The crayon is a short, chubby pencil that is supposed to be a brow pomade in crayon form. There are obviously drawbacks to this design- while it's a cool concept, frankly, the thing is huge. Maybelline definitely should have gone with something a lot less thick. I got the shade Dark Brown, I believe. As you can see, while the product is sharp now, it doesn't take much to run it down and I fear for the day this becomes too nubby to use (I've been using it on an angle so far). The formula, however, is pretty gorgeous. It's soft and emollient, but amazingly pigmented. It gives a soft effect rather than a harsh line. Here are my brows with no product in them. May Favourites 2016!

May went by so slowly for me, but it was a month of excitement for sure! Eurovision happened and I got a job! Let's see what I loved through this month. A lot of oldies in here! First I've got some Makeup Geek shadows to talk about, and for once, I'm not waxing poetic about their Foiled eyeshadows. Makeup Geek's matte shadows in Chickadee (left) and Cocoa Bear (right) are deserving of all the hype they get. They pair together perfectly to create a warm crease. I'd never actually owned a warm medium brown eyeshadow before this, and let me just say- where have I been?! I've been wearing them all month and the only complaint I have is that now I'm in a bit of an eyeshadow rut because I don't want to wear anything else! Here's them both in my crease with Makeup Geek Foiled eyeshadow in Center Stage on the lid.
