Here's a quickie post since I've been neglecting this blog as of late. Everyone loves a good highlighter, so I'm gonna swatch mine for you! Here they are, in all their gleamy glory. Short and sweet. Would you like to see any of these reviewed?

Stash Raid: How I Store my Eyeshadows!

Image
One of my favourite things to do is go through other people's makeup stashes; just to see what they have. I honestly love it. So now I'm giving you the chance to ogle all of my eyeshadow, as well as see how I store it! All my storage. It sits normally on a standing rack in the bathroom. First up is palettes! I keep them in this desk organizer/letter holder from Homesense. Here's most of the ones from the first two compartments! Lots of Wet n Wild. And here are the rest. I also use this organizer to store my Bite Beauty lip sets (Best Bite Remix holiday 2014 and Watercolour lip gloss library), and my contour palette from Sephora collection. Now the singles! I store them in these tubs that I got for 50 cents each at Dollarama. Here's the Miscellaneous ones, as well as a couple of duos and trios. A couple of Laura Mercier creme eyeliners snuck their way in here too. And here's my color tattoos! This isn't all of ...

Snoop my Stash: Haircare

Image
As you can probably see from this blog, I am not a lady who cares much about her hair. My sister's hair is gorgeous, long and always impeccably styled, but I'm just not about that. As long as it's reasonably combed I'm good. That being said, here are the hair products I've accumulated over the past year or so, mostly as gifts! I keep them in this little basket. L'oreal Professional tecni.art A-head glue: Okay,  I'll be truthful- I do love this stuff. It is basically glue for your hair, as the name implies. I use it mostly for cosplay. Oscar Blandi Dry Sculpting Pomade: I found this for a bargain at Winners the day after I chopped off all my hair. Then, I loved it, but it's not very effective for hair as heavy as mine, and I don't like the strong perfumey fragrance. Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo: The cheapest dry shampoo out there and the bane of beauty bloggers everywhere; why do I still have this? Dove Style+Care Styling Gel: Trut...

Snoop my Stash: Skincare!

Image
Hey guys! Today I'll be showing you something you won't often see from me- skincare and body care! Here's my stash. I don't swear by any one product (okay, maybe one), this is just what I'm working through right now. I honestly have awful dry skin and not much tends to make a difference in that. Here I have Aveeno Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser. It's nice, smells good, makes my skin soft. But I can't stand the little microbeads in it. They're so annoying and bad for the environment! A-derma cleansing foaming gel, a sample from Shoppers. And the Body Shop tea trea oil spot treatment. It seems to work better than salicylic acid on me, but it still doesn't do much. An old Mary Kay eye makeup remover that is old as the hills. Seriously, I've been using this one bottle since the seventh grade. I actually love it.  VICHY Micellar water- eh. Part of a gift set. I use it to remove arm swatches because it doesn't do any...

What's in My Travel Makeup Bag?

Image
I have quite a busy weekend planned! Saturday I'm waking up early to go to Manitoulin Island to check on the family trailer- then as soon as I get home, I'm going to my friend Jen's sleepover party! We'll spend the night partay-ing, then my friend Kassidy will be picking me up at six AM Sunday and we're travelling seven hours to go to Brock University's open house and then back home again in the same day. Whew! But the real important question is: what makeup am I going to bring? Here is my little bag, in all of its tiny cute glory. However, it sure can hold a lot of stuff! Ta-da! Would you believe this all fit in there? Here's what I'm bringing to do my makeup: Smashbox 24 Hour Shadow Primer deluxe sample : I've been working through this for about a month and a half. It's small but not as messy as those Urban Decay card samples, so in it goes! Too Faced Jingle All the Way phone palette : Indispensable. Contain...
