My Top 5 Beauty Wishlist: Benefit Cosmetics

Hey guys! I missed doing my Top 10 Beauty Wishlists, and I decided I was going to do something different. I'm going to be doing brand wishlists in either 5 or 10 slots, depending on how much I want from the brand. Today's is going to be a brand I'm oddly not that interested in, Benefit Cosmetics. Here we go!


1. They're Real! Mascara in Beyond Blue



I love the formulation of They're Real!, I love blue mascara, and this has looked amazing and vibrant in every picture and swatch I've seen. I don't love the price tag- but I have a Shoppers Drugmart gift card so this might just be my next purchase.

2. They're Real! Push-Up Liner



I've wanted this for a while- I really liked the sample size that I got and think the concept is interesting. This is something I can see myself using.

 3. Gimme Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel in Medium/Deep



It's Gimme Brow. C'mon, who doesn't want this stuff? It's ridiculously small and expensive, however, so I don't see myself getting it.

4. Roller Lash Mascara



This one just looks interesting. I don't have problems with my lashes being straight, but it looks like a good natural-looking mascara.

5.  Watts Up! Cream to Powder Highlighter



I love cream highlighters and even though this looks similar to several that I own already, I own all of those for a reason. Because I love them. This would be cool to own.

Review: Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon

Hey guys, long time no post! I'm here today to review the new Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon. This is an interesting product for sure- one of the many new and exciting things Maybelline has put out for us this spring. The crayon is a short, chubby pencil that is supposed to be a brow pomade in crayon form. There are obviously drawbacks to this design- while it's a cool concept, frankly, the thing is huge. Maybelline definitely should have gone with something a lot less thick. I got the shade Dark Brown, I believe. As you can see, while the product is sharp now, it doesn't take much to run it down and I fear for the day this becomes too nubby to use (I've been using it on an angle so far). The formula, however, is pretty gorgeous. It's soft and emollient, but amazingly pigmented. It gives a soft effect rather than a harsh line. Here are my brows with no product in them. May Favourites 2016!

May went by so slowly for me, but it was a month of excitement for sure! Eurovision happened and I got a job! Let's see what I loved through this month. A lot of oldies in here! First I've got some Makeup Geek shadows to talk about, and for once, I'm not waxing poetic about their Foiled eyeshadows. Makeup Geek's matte shadows in Chickadee (left) and Cocoa Bear (right) are deserving of all the hype they get. They pair together perfectly to create a warm crease. I'd never actually owned a warm medium brown eyeshadow before this, and let me just say- where have I been?! I've been wearing them all month and the only complaint I have is that now I'm in a bit of an eyeshadow rut because I don't want to wear anything else! Here's them both in my crease with Makeup Geek Foiled eyeshadow in Center Stage on the lid. Products I've Hit Pan On!

Whenever I look back on my instagram to see which posts were the most popular, it's always the posts featuring products I've #hitpan on. The panning community in general is awesome, so I figured I'd do a post showing all the products in my collection that currently have some pan going on! And I'm sure I'll have another post like this soon, because I have so many products, particularly eyeshadows, that are soooo close to hitting pan. Anyways- let's get into the good stuff! First up is this Too Faced Jingle All the Way "phone palette" that I've had for ages. It was my first foray into high-end eyeshadow- picked up for a measly 15 bucks when I went on vacation to Washington, D.C. I believe it was part of a holiday collection, and I grabbed it out of the sale bin the following spring.
