Quick Review: Kosas Wet Lip Oils in Jaws and Jellyfish

Today I’ve decided to post a review on a recent favourite product of mine! I feel it deserves more exposure, but I also want to inform people of all the aspects of the product so they can make an informed decision on whether to purchase them! These are the Wet Lip Oils from the brand Kosas. I love these glosses! I initially purchased the shade Jellyfish and recently picked up the shade Jaws as well. They are comfortable, true to the name (very wet and juicy-looking on the lips) and have awesome ingredients, like buzzworthy hyaluronic acid, peptides and evening primrose oil.  The formula is thin but moisturizing- these don’t feel oily on the lips, they feel like something between a conditioning lip mask and a balm. The product smells lightly of candied oranges, which I adore and find quite unique. It definitely enhances the experience of this product for me. Review: L'Oreal Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Cobalt Blue

It's always exciting when you've been waiting and waiting for something to go on sale and then it finally does. I picked up this L'Oreal Silkissime eyeliner in Cobalt Blue at Target, having wanted it ever since I read Temptalia's review. Standard pencil eyeliner, nice packaging, though the cap looks liable, like others, to crack or come off if subjected to a bit of wear and tear. Cobalt Blue is, well, a cobalt blue. It's pretty straightforward, and opaque in one smooth stroke. It feels very... liquidy. Wet, and gel-like. It sets in a matter of half a minute, but is not completely transferproof.  Its smooth, soft consistency makes it a bit difficult to create a bold line unless the pencil is very sharp. This is simply the liner on bare eyelids; no primer. You can see that on my left (your right) lid, the liner has smudged and transferred onto the top of my eyelid- this happened about ten minutes after application. This problem can be avoided...

Review: Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon

Hey guys, long time no post! I'm here today to review the new Maybelline Brow Drama Pomade Crayon. This is an interesting product for sure- one of the many new and exciting things Maybelline has put out for us this spring. The crayon is a short, chubby pencil that is supposed to be a brow pomade in crayon form. There are obviously drawbacks to this design- while it's a cool concept, frankly, the thing is huge. Maybelline definitely should have gone with something a lot less thick. I got the shade Dark Brown, I believe. As you can see, while the product is sharp now, it doesn't take much to run it down and I fear for the day this becomes too nubby to use (I've been using it on an angle so far). The formula, however, is pretty gorgeous. It's soft and emollient, but amazingly pigmented. It gives a soft effect rather than a harsh line. Here are my brows with no product in them.
